Benedict's big bike tour of London
Giving back to our communities remains a key priority for Crawford, and once again we are calling for your support for the Alzheimer's Society's Insurance Day of Giving on 1 December. This year, to start our fundraising with a bang, Crawford has donated £5,000 to the Insurance Day of Giving.
For the 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK, many of whom have been cut off and suffered greatly throughout the pandemic, our charity days can mean the difference between feeling helpless and alone, and finding the right care and attention to help sufferers and their families through each day. This is an opportunity to unite the insurance sector in fighting for a better quality of life for people living with dementia and their families.
To support this great cause, Crawford’s chief client officer, Global Client Development and long-time champion for Insurance United Against Dementia, Benedict Burke, will be completing a unique tour of London on his bike, highlighting some of the special and significant places from his personal insurance journey. To keep him on his toes, we will be offering people the opportunity to set him fun challenges or request photographs for a donation.
Benedict’s will finish his bike ride at The Lamb, 10-12 Leadenhall Market, London EC3V 1LR, where he would love for people to join him in a restorative beer!
