Some insurers have policy wordings that extend broad coverage and we have been dealing with many claims for those insurers. The issues raised offer some hint of the problems ahead, should the current court cases pass through Appeal Courts, without reversal.
We will also draw on insights from Crawford’s experience of COVID-19 business interruption claims from the UK where claims deferred by another appeal process, are now finding their way to insurers and adjusters are at the forefront of expediting these claims.
